Equine Sales Australia was established in June 2007 to provide a service to the horse industry where previously there has been little or no availability to purchasers and sellers of horses.

As horse people ourselves this partnership understands that when purchasing a horse there is more to buying than simply viewing a photo. We believe that all horses should be shown for what they really are, therefore in order to buy the right horse you want to see how it performs. There is much debate on the integrity and honesty of those who sell horses and our aim to bring about a method of both selling and purchasing horses that provides both satisfaction and dependability in the horse industry.

We have developed this website to provide such a service and after much discussion and trials (as well as tribulations) we believe that we are getting closer to providing a more reliable and informative service, both, to horse persons who wish to purchase the right horse, and those who wish to sell their pride and joy to someone who will do the best for their much loved horse.

We understand the economic cost of sending video upon video out to potential interested buyers and then receiving little or no response. There goes your video, the postage and the time and effort to put it all together and send it, not to mention all the dollars involved. When you don’t hear anything further the motivation of selling a horse can be more of an ordeal than a joyous experience of moving onto bigger and better things.

On the other hand, we also sympathize with the buyers who spend so much of their time searching for the right horse only to be disappointed when they finally see the horse in action and discover it is a potential death trap or has so many health problems that only a vet benefits from your purchase.

For this reason we have put more of the onus on the seller to provide all potential purchasers with the most honest and up to date information in regards to the horse they are selling.

At Equine Sales Australia we strive to take a bit of the guess work out of buying and selling your horse. We provide the opportunity for sellers to post up to 15Mb of video upload of their horse in action, as well as providing for the buyer the time effectiveness of seeing a horse of their liking move and perform without so much as leaving the house. Both parties involved have saved themselves time, effort and dollars, leaving everyone much more satisfied.
